This week's Comic-Book Storytelling assignment for Shanth Enjeti. It's seriously probably THE best class I've ever taken...with Creature Creations very near behind. I LOVE this man and this class...after hearing him talk about working, I am so full of sweaty pace-the-room ambition. It's awesome.

This was done for the "Moment in History Assignment". 6 panels, black and white, no text, with approximately the same shot, illustrating a moment in history. for those not in the know, this is King Solomon's 'Wise Ruling' from 1 Kings 3: 16-28. An irreverant version, but lovingly so. This was done in under 24 hours (:p) over yesterday when I finally decided to commit to a concept and do it. The next assigment gets more time, I swear!
Anyways...better next time, for real! After Shanth, I just want to round-house kick the world!

Goodness, so much crosshatching, and it looks so nice and neat! How did you get the different women on the same background? Did you just do the background on a seperate sheet, and then do the several different drawings of the women? I dunno what I'm talking about, but either way, whatever you have done, was done effectively.

(lol, when i was told this story as a kid, it terrified and confused me.)
