This week for Shanth Enjeti...
COLOR We were assigned "6 color keys (4in x 2in) from an epic story involving a quest, a kingdom, and a battle with a great beast". I wrestled with this early in the week and was generally pretty colossally unproductive until yesterday when I decided I was gonna do moments from King David (which is an amazing story, that I hope to one day work on in much greater scope and detail). I always wrestle with color, but I'm beginning to enjoy it (Shanth's fault) and these started as a struggle, but wound up being alot of fun to do. It's a great exercise to work with these little things, and I think I'll do more...maybe even do one a day during wintersession. They're not in chronological order. But for those unfamiliar with the story, the moments are: David and Goliath - The Ark Returns to Jerusalem The Death of Saul - David and Bathsheba David Annointed King - Saul and the Witch of Endor |
