Finally, it's done!
Here it is: my final for Shanth Enjeti's face-rocking Comic Book Storytelling Class! It took a good long time to get this to finish even after having handed it in, but here it is, just in time for Christmas!
SO: here's the debut of two more characters from the same general world of Windlord and The Faceless: meet Alfonse & Domingo
Alfonse is the one with the big hat, Domingo is the one with wind-chimes hanging from his gills.
I was really stuck for ideas for the final project...I had a few floating out there, but nothing really satisfied me. And as ridiculously artsy as it sounds, this came to me while my friend Henrik was improvising on his guitar I asked him to keep playing while I started to plot it out, this is what resulted. I'm quite pleased with the outcome, and I'm very excited to finally post it! I hope y'all like it!
So, Merry Christmas to all, please enjoy the early present and have a wonderful holiday!
I want a giant flying manta-ray!
This is really lovely. It's almost like a sequence from fantasia or something. The lighting on the scenary looks beautiful, and each panel is more dynamic then the last. You really did a great job.
Holy cow. You never cease to amaze me. Your comics are so enthralling and beautiful. It's like watching a movie. I can't help but favorite just about everything you post...
I always thought giant manta rays would make the most kickass fantasy mounts ^-^
It's all pretty magnificent, but I think my favorite parts are the little details, like the curling tail, the wind chimes, and how the spherical building (home?) looks like it's smiling. HA HA, THAT PART GETS ME, HOWEVER UNINTENTIONAL THAT LIL SMILE MIGHT BE.

This feature was brought together by my watchers and hours of browsing galleries for inspiring pieces that have gone unnoticed. Here are the results, one hundred beautiful photographs with under one hundred favorites. Let's give these artists the attention they deserve <3
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Merry Christmas to you as well! X3
I love what you've done with the backgrounds especially; it really invokes a sense of vastness (is that even a word) in a 2 dimensional plane.
